Caravan Site Onnela

The Onnela caravan site includes over 600 year-round caravan pitches with electric hook-up.

In the winter season, registration is at the Hotel OnnenTähti reception. The service building doors can be opened with the key card that you will receive when paying for a caravan pitch. For faster check-in, you can print out and fill the passenger card beforehand.

Beach and sauna facilities

In the summertime the saunas are open every day from 7 am to 10 pm, with the exception of a short cleaning break in the afternoon. 

In winter season the saunas are open every day from 7pm to 10pm. 

Dining

Kyläkaupan Kesäkahvila -restaurant serves Onnela guests during the summer season. Its selection includes cafeteria products, meals, and ice cream. The shop is licensed.

There are two barbecue spots in the area, where you can grill sausages and other foods. There is a woodshed between the saunas.

In the Kyläkauppa area, there are several restaurants serving the caravanners.

Children

In Onnela, children enjoy spending time in their own play area. There is also a lot to see and do in the Kyläkauppa area: Finland’s largest Moomin playground, the indoor playground Riemu Park, the Aku Park in the Department Store, and in the summertime, a miniature golf course and a public skate park. The highlight of summer is Miljoona Tivoli with free admission for under 13-year-olds.

During summer season there are pedal cars are available to rent in Onnela for €5 per 2 hours.

Pets

The Caravan Site Onnela was selected as the most dog-friendly campsite in Finland in 2018.

For dogs, we have our own dog park. Dogs can swim in the lake at the back of the caravan site or next to Veljekset Siltala, where there is easier access to the beach. Keep your pet on a leash in the campsite area.

Facilities

The main service building includes a cooking and washing-up spot, laundry, water supply, toilets and showers, and a spot for emptying your chemical toilet. The greywater tank is located between the main building and reception building. The waste station is next to the main service building.

In the back service building, there is also a waste station, toilets and showers, and an outdoor washing-up spot.

Third service building with toilets, showers and sauna is situated at the beach.
