SNOWCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN TUURI, FINLAND, ON 26^th OF MARCH

Snowcross World Championships Race is held in Tuuri, Finland, on 26^th of March. The race is organized by Suomenselän Moottorikelkkailijat ry together with Bros. Keskinen. The race that takes place in the immediate vicinity of the Village Shop is the first ever Snowcross World Championship Race organised in Finland, because this time the championship is won in one single race unlike earlier when winning the title took several races. Apart from Finland, numerous competitors are expected to participate from the United States, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Italy and Switzerland.

The Village Shop info point is already selling tickets and tickets are also sold on the day of the race at the gate starting 9 a.m. Tickets cost 20 € and children under 15 years are let in free of charge when accompanied by an adult. The ticket entitles to access to the pit area where you have an opportunity to meet World Championship level driver and see their fast and fascinating snowmobiles.

Due to high demand we also have VIP passes available. The VIP pass gives access to a special section of the bleacher and to a VIP lobby where a buffet lunch is served. The price of the VIP pass is 80 €. The VIP lobby is not accessible to persons under the age of 18.

The race offers something to see to everyone. The audience will see snowmobile novelties of next season when the Roadshow 2012 starts in Tuuri. Also, a large selection of snowmobile equipment is on display and available for purchase in the race area. There is plenty of food and snacks available for all tastes and naturally a hill for the sleds of the little ones.

Saturday 26^th of march

Awards are handed to winners immediately after the race.

NOTE! Schedule subject to change. The final schedule is available according to the International Motorcycling Federation FIM World Cup rules 15 days prior to the race when the final number of competitors is confirmed.

RACE AREA

The race is held in the immediate vicinity of the Tuuri Village Shop. Signs directing to the area are posted along road number 18 from Jyväskylä and Vaasa.

The race area consists of race track, the pit area accessible to all, info booth, race office for competitors, cafeteria, refreshment bar (K-18), restrooms and hill for children's' sleds. There are also has sales points and the Roadshow presenting the snowmobile novelties of the next season.

Bringing your own alcoholic beverages is not allowed.

The nearest ATM machine is on the shopping street of the Village Shop department store about 400 metres from the race area.

TICKETS

Tickets 20 €, no charge for children under 15 when accompanied by an adult.

VIP passes 80 €, incl. buffet lunch in VIP lounge with a bar, special VIP section of bleachers. VIP lounge K-18 (VIP passes available starting 10 March at the Village Shop info point)
